No, I don't know yet but I am looking forward to it too! Very exciting! Hopefully the Gray brothers will let us know when they have a chance. Right now they are very busy with pre-production.
I've learned to ignore people who only have negative things to say. They get pleasure out of tearing people down and especially starting fights on the internet. If Mr. Par reads this thread, he should know that his fans understand that these negative comments come from unhappy people with their own agenda. I hope he will only focus on the admiration and appreciation his fans have for him.

I have seen most of the movies he is in. And he is always playing a jerk or a cop or detective, etc.
Some actors never leave character when on set. Even during down time they are still acting.
Away from the set, perhaps they want to have lunch like a normal person. Or be with friends and coworkers and not signing autographs. I know many stars have a problem being gracious all the time.
I suspect you met him on a bad day.
In any case, I have heard Anjelina Jolie is hard to work with, condescending and not nice to fans.
i think it all depends on what the movie is, how much they like their costars, director, etc. many things.
I wish he was more well known and did more big time movies.
he was great in Lincoln Lawyer and was very sullen and gruff in it.

I met him in LA in the early 90s, I recognized him from his films and asked him for a picture with my wife and I.. he offered to take the picture unaware that I meant a picture of us all.. He was nice and polite the whole while..
A fine actor, and I like his films..

Just met him once but he was a complete and total ass. It seemed to bother him we were breathing the same air, one would thing he would be a little more humble with the career he has had, it is his die hard fans that have kept him working. You get the impression he is bitter he career did not amount to more, but he should be happy he did not have to work a 40 hour a week job his whole life. It is possible I just caught him on a bad day
I also met Bruce Campbell, another b-list actor, and he could not be a kinder person, The man took the time to just BS with us for about 20 minutes, signed autographs & posed for pictures.

This guy doesn't care about his fans and seems to think he is too
              good for everyone.
What I find most fascinating is that his haters111c almost always exaggerate, extrapolate or play armchair psychologist. For example, you took your personal experiences and extrapolated to say that he doesn't care about ANY of his fans, and feels that he's "too good for EVERYONE." Perhaps it was personal and for some reason, he simply didn't like you. I'm not saying that his actions were justified but I'm just disturbed by the need to generalize.
It's not just you. Other haters do the same thing. On the other hand, his supporters tend to focus only on their personal first-hand experiences. They say things like, "I met him and he seems really humble." They make no attempt at saying how he might treat others.
For what it's worth, I'm not a fan of Michael Pare and have only seen one of his movies, Streets of Fire, which I didn't like. I'm only here because a co-worker claims to be his childhood schoolmate.

This guy doesn't care about his fans and seems to think he is too good
for everyone. Such a disappointment and very well may be a huge
contributing factor to his being a total B-movie/straight-to-video guy
That's a low blow and completely irrelevant. And it's a perfect example of what I meant when I said that you haters play armchair psychologist. Plenty of rude actors become successful, and plenty of nice actors are relegated to B-movies. There is no proven correlation so your comment was simply a personal attack with no relevance.
Worse, you ignored the data. If you look at his resume, you'd see that he is one of most steadily-working actors in the industry, averaging several projects per year since 1981 with a total of 92. In fact, it's only April 2012 and he's already had 9 projects this year. Admittedly, your post was written in 2008 but even then he was working steadily.
I know plenty of average plumbers, physicians, teachers, engineers, etc or what you'd call B-list people. They have no awards or recognition, and don't make an extraordinary amount of money. Yet they work steadily, and pay their taxes. What's wrong with that? If you do what you like and can support yourself doing it, I'd say you're a success. So your comment about Pare being "a total B-movie/straight-to-b68video guy" says more about you and your priorities than it does about him.
For what it's worth, I'm not a fan of Michael Pare and have only seen one of his movies, Streets of Fire, which I didn't like. I'm only here because a co-worker claims to be his childhood schoolmate.

Then why defend him so vehemently?

I can vouch for the OP. When I was on set of the film POSTAL, pretty much everyday he just sat there between takes, not even acknowledging anyone. Never said Thank You to anyone who brought things to him, never got to know anyone's name. I think he's an alcoholic. He striked me as one, coming from a family with a father who was one, I could see the similarities. He also mentioned that Seed was to be his last film. But I guess like all habits, there needs to be money for fuel.

I was at an autograph show and because of his "I'm too good to be here but I'm here anyway" attitude, I didn't get him to sign anything, and I had stuff for him to sign. He's just smug. Maybe he's just quiet and doesn't know what to say, not a BS artist like some actors. He's no Olivier. He became a star in the first place because years ago he was perfect looking. His characters are, or at least, were all the same: handsome, manly, brooding, heroic types anyhow so, maybe he's just that guy.
