Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Christopher Plummer

One of the worst movies I ever saw was "Starcrash" and Plummer was amazing in it despite being surrounded by cheap special effects, a stupid script and hack italian actors.
Only he could do well in such a mess of a film.

He often would do movies like that for the paycheck, so he could concentrate on his stage career.

As the years go by and the true actor fades into the waning sunset, Christopher Plummer remains amongst the few that I still enjoy.
I just saw him in a film the other night on Netflix with Shirley MacLaine. I loved it.
He's like a smooth Cabernet. His voice is stillhow can I clean this up?sexually inspiring!

I think I know the movie you're talking about! Thank you, thank you! Now I know what I'm going to watch soon 🙂
Please excuse typos/funny wording; I use speech-recognition that doesn't always recognize!

No problem. Typos accepted. Let me know what you think of the film.

Elsa and Fred. Lovely little film. And yes, he's still got it.
