That was in jest. They have worked together a couple of times since TSoM, and have, according to them both, remained dear friends over the years.

As has been said it was a joke, they adore each other and have remained the best o16d0f friends. Next month they are appearing together at the TCM Festival for a screening of The Sound of Music.
