Bottom line its his own fault. He signed the contract. Too late so sorry. A deal is a deal, even if he was tricked which I doubt it doesn't matter its his own stupid fault for signing it. I used to like this guy too not anymore. Hes already a millionaire, why must he be so greedy. You don't see Jon Heder complaining about low pay. He got 1,000 for Napoleon Dynamite. The movie made over 40 million.

Some of you guys are on crack.
No one EVER gets what they sue for.
        It's more lik238e half.
So if he is suing for 10 milion it means he really expects around 5. This covers his legal fees and everything else.
But this lawsuit is mostly done for principal.
How would you feel if Ang Lee came up to you at your job asked to film you for a small art-house films paying not that much and then marketed it like anyother blockbuster, went on to win 2 oscars as well as other awards and assload of nominations in
WHAT WAS ONE OF THE MOST TALKED ABOUT, FAMOUS MOVIES OF THE YEAR?
You'd feel cheated I can tell5b4 you that.

You'd feel cheated I can tell you that.
First off, if Ang Lee asked me to be in one of his movies, I'd feel
          flattered
          , not cheated.
          BBM
definitely wasn't marketed like a typical blockbuster. Its success was mostly word-of-mouth. Meanwhile, Heath Ledger, Jake Gyllenhaal, Michelle Williams and Anne Hathaway-the
          real
stars of the picture-got paid way less than what Randy Quaid's asking for, but they're not filing bogus lawsuits. If RQ had used common sense and negotiated his contract before taking the par2000t, he wouldn't be in this mess in the first place.
          (BTW,
          BBM
          won
          3
          Oscars, not two).

Quaid dropped his lawsuit. His publicist said he decided to drop the lawsuit after Focus Features agreed to pay him a bonus. Focus Features denies making such a settlement.
