Ben Affleck As George Reeves In Hollywoodland

I know Ben wasn't nominated himself, but I think Hollywoodland was up for some Oscars. Was it up for Best Picture? I think so, but I'm not sure.
So I'll shut up!

Being a fan of the original Superman and really not a fan of Affleck, I have to say I think you are wrong. I thought Affleck did one of his finest performances as Reeves and really pulled me in sympathetically. Sorry you didn't feel it, but Affleck was able to give the vibe of a man suffering but was doing everything he could not to let it show. I always had the same impression of Reeves.
Brody was par excellent. I would be interested to see how Kyle would have done, he has that classic lookbut they did very well with what they did.
But this will not stop the Affleck haters that troll this board and the Hollywood Land boards, but so far, the positive replies have outweighed the negatives.
I guess for them it is just too bitter a pill to swallow.
