While I'm pretty agnostic on the George Reeves murder/suicide issue, why is it that people who always say things like this about
    any
    topic:
There is nothing about the case, WHEN PROPERLY INTERPRETED BY FORENSIC EXPERTS, which points anywhere but to suicide.
    are always in the wrong??

Why is it that people who say "people who do such and such are ALWAYS wrong" are so often wrong themselves?

Wether he was murdered,or committed suicide, the common thread is that a female was the root cause(I doubt being Superman would have taken him over the edge,I mean,he had to know the kids idolized him).My guess is he was not happy in his arrangement soon to be married..he drank a lot to forget the troubles, and when they argued it made him want to take himself out of it.Rather than being a murderer (killing his fiance) he killed himself.Think about it.
I believe Chris Benoit was much the same wayonly he had a damaged brain, and he went way too far.He and Nancy would argue a lot I guess about son Daniel(Nancy filed divorce papers stating verbal abuse),eventually he couldnt it take anymore and hogtied and choked Nancy to death.Once that was done,he knew he couldnt live on,his son would be taken away and he would be arrested and made into a monster..losing his wrestling gig and his fans.At that point his life was over anyway,so he put Daniel into a "Better place",then after he made peace with his maker,he killed himself being hung on a cable attached to his workout machine.
Never underestimate man's internal struggle with himself over a female that he frequently disagrees with.We all want to be happy, constant bickering has to drive one to drinkand then who knows what else..???
Its only worse for the famous/rich people I guess too.

I read the various threads on why some consider his death to be murder and I was ready to refute your argument that "a female was the root cause" because it just seems so wrong. However, I've known/known of five people who've committed suicide and all except one was due to problems with their wives or girlfriends and the exception has a female at the root cause too. She killed herself when she found out her fiance was cheating on her with another woman.
I really wanted to be able to argue against "women are the root cause" but it's kind of pointless given the above.
It's amazing how far forensic science has come over the years. They just didn't have enough information or procedures in place to know what kind of evidence to save. Maybe t5b4hat would have helped to clear up the mystery of George Reeves' death once and for all.

Read some novels and books from the 1940s and you'll see they had some pretty solid understanding of bullet trajectory back then. The study of fingerprints had been around a few decades. Their ability back then led them to suspect immediately it was suicide. I will say though that Mannix was friends with the chief of police.

More evidence supports the murder theory. An oiled gun without fingerprints, no complete autopsy, bullet holes all over the walls, and the sound of a car screeching away, plus Phyllis Thaxter was phoned the next morning and told he was murdered before any news of his death was released.
