A source close to the family claimed that his family acknowledges his poor mental health and believes that ending his life does not help bring their deceased parents back to life. If anything, the family strongly recommends that Nick get professional help, which will aid accountability in the case.
The family is also reportedly on standby to speak out against the death penalty should he be sentenced. According to the source, "They believe killing him won't bring Rob and Michele back — and it won't fix what went wrong."
If Nick does not get the death penalty, Los Angeles District Attorney Nathan Hochman expressed that he may get slammed with a life sentence without the possibility of parole. -

I still can't believe that Rob is gone that soon.
I wonder what fate he and his wife would want for their son who murdered them?
What would anybody else want if it happened to them?

I'm not sure about the death penalty. But being California, with its 'oh, we've discovered a way to let out a convicted criminal who has been proven beyond a shadow of a doubt to have done what they were arrested with' attitude, it might be the best option
I just hope he doesn't make a third Deuce Bigalow movie
