Dexter doesn't really appeal to me that much and if he isn't in all the episodes I don't think I will bother.
Any films where he is the lead actor would be good. I have just bought One Good Turn off Amazon so I can't wait to watch that.
And as for Sex and the City, what season and episode is that? Might have to check that one out lol !! -

I hear "One Good Turn" is a matter of opinion, but there's one juicy scene where he tips a woman over the rail to do her;)
SatC: 4.10, 12-18; 5.1-3 and 6.13. (4.13 is when he goes full-frontal; it's called "The Good Fight".)
Trouble with "lead" is that you're looking at B-movies from a man who generally plays the villain. Since there's a lot I've seen, I'll just point out the ones where he has the most screen timemovies only. (V = villain, L = lead)
V - 48 Hrs.
L - Quiet Cool
L - The Tigress (I didn't finish that one)
V - Fatal Instinct
V - Blowback
L - Guardian (DNF)
V/L - The Girl Next Door (both, because he looks like the villain, but ends up becoming a very visible supporting)
L - Sharpshooter
L - The Christmas Hope
I'm mentioning Miracle on 34th Street (1994) because even though he has a smaller part, I think it's worth watching just to see himand it's a cute movie.
Mortal Kombat 2he's a supporting actor, but a very visible one, which is unusual for him. Django Unchained: he's killed within the first few minutes of the movie, but then he comes back partway through as Leonardo DiCaprio's sidekick and stays until almost the end.
The Warriors:2000 he only supports about 1/4-1/2 of the way through the movie, but purists wouldn't forgive me for forgetting iteven if I didn't like it.

Thank you for your recommendations. I definitely will be checking some of them out. I really wanna see 48hrs. I can see my DVD collection expanding over the next few months, due to my obsession! !
I watched One Good Turn the other day and even though James is in it all the way through, I thought it was a terrible film. Kinda wish I hadn't spent my money on it. The only good bit was the rooftop scene!

Any time! (I'm sure you've figured out by now exactly what "Jamie's FanGirl" means?
)
If you're ever feeling lonely, may I suggest Girl Next Door? He's pretty smarmy to start out, but he has one scene where he wakes up from a nap and is only in tighty whiertighty
purplies
! (That's also where the "attack parrot" comes in!)
Also, if you ever get a chance to see his appearance in
Without a Trace
(like renting the DVD from Netflix),
DO IT!
His first scene is coming out of a swimming pool in a Speedo that's starting to come off one hip andsighWho needs Jack Sparrow?

I finally saw
The Dream Team
the other night. Not only was it incredibly flat (and it had such potential!), his role was limited to a few scenes in which he plays his regular villain role.Who needs Jack Sparrow?

Can' believe no-one has mentioned The Cotton Club. In a stunning film and first rate cast, he really stands out as gangster, Dutch Schultz- awe inspiring performance!

Like somebody else said in this thread he was grat as Dutch Shultz in Cotton Club.
My personal favourite role of his was in the '48 Hours" films, but of course any fan of James has to see him in Warriors as 'Ajax', probably the role which always springs to mind when his name is mentioned. -

Oh honey, you haven't lived until you have seen The Warriors. I think it was his second film and he played Ajax, a real bad ass confrontational guy but he had a LOT of guts and courage. You will see what I mean if you watch it, if you haven't already. He was one of the breakout stars of that.
