There is a genetic disease called Tay-Sachs which is prevalent among Jews. That alone shows Jewish is an ethnicity.
You can also be an atheist and be Jewish. Woody Allen is an atheist. But is he still not the quintessential "Jew"? I know a man who is Jewish and a Hare Krishna.
Most American Jews are Ashkenazi. If you want to be more precise and not call Jewish an ethnic group, call them Ashkenazi.

u know, He Cant could have just stumbled upon this poster and after some online researching and stalking he found the real Adlerian's twitter account, his posts on this and that forum and saw that the real Adlerian hasn't posted in a while and so he took on his identity here to troll Filmboards. easy breezy.
