She's always been a little crazy, but after reading some of her recent blogs, and comparing them to her older biography,

A friend of min5b4e said her commentaries on the episodes of Roseanne on the DVDs she makes no sense. I own all the seasons but I've never seen or heard the commentaries. I'm a bit interested though.

I thought she made sense in the DVD commentaries, she just spends a lot of time not saying much and watching the episodes, recalling them, commenting about stuff like her hairstyle, or complaining about certain things (like when the writers didn't like George Clooney). She does make fun of herself at one point because she doesn't have much to say about the episode. But she also says a lot of things about her co-stars and her intentions for the show.

I agree with the original poster also - Don't get me wrong, I like Roseanne as an actress for her sitcom, but I've seen her blog on occasion and am floored that it's just the same type ramblings over and over. It's never anything different, just what seems to be ramblings, as if she talks about nothing else. I still like her, I just wonder why she's stuck on these topics only, and nothing else, whether what she says makes sense or not.

She's nuttier than squirrel turds, but that's part of her "charm".
I think she just has made up her mind to say whatever comes to her mind, and screw the rest of the world. Sometimes when people get older that's what they do - say and do what they want, and F! the rest of what the world thinks.
Don't get me wrong, I love Roseanne, but she is bat-sh*t crazy at times. I think she means well. -

And most of this is illogical, hateful, slanderous, biased, misinformed nonsense.
What's going on with her? Has she always been THIS extreme? Does she just lack perceptual skills or is she just an old lady perpetuating in misery?
That is the true Roseanne. She is illogical, hateful, slanderous, biased, and misinformed. She used to be my biggest heroesa woman that made it and had a voice. But she is uglynot on the outside but on the inside. She is ugly to othersespecially to womenFANS.
Its a shame. A damn shame. Money can't buy brains. She is her own problem.

In the King interview, she refers to being happily married. I wasn't surprised that she is divorced for a third time. It isn't old age crankiness. She has a long history of serious mental illness that her family recognized early on. The decompensation of a severely mentally ill person in the public eye is both fascinating and revolting. It's hard to live in your skin after watching it and knowing (in all likelihood) no one is there trying to prevent the inevitable (because she likely refuses to be helped).
