She has played such diverse parts flawlessly. I love watching her in everything she's done, even the very forgettable films she made in the 90's. My favorite performances:
Minnie and Moskowitz
Another Woman I actually relate to both these characters a great deal.
Faces
A Woman Under the Influence amaaazing. Maybe the finest performance I've ever seen.
Gloria
Opening Night best drunk ever.
Love Streams all right. She's flawless in all of Cassavetes' films.
And some for particularly great scenes
Once Around I particularly love the scene where she takes the microphone away from Richard Dreyfuss. It's just perfect.
Tempest with John at the New Year's party, and dancing on the island. Ohh, I just love to see those two onscreen together.
I'm sorry. I couldn't pick just one. Or five.

I do love everything she does - she just has that charisma about her.
I haven't seen all her films, but I have seen a lot of them and Gloria was one of her best performances. Though I have never seen her give anything other than a excellent one. -
