I have just finished reading this book
If Gena Rowlands, Manager, Publicist or son Nick Cassavetes read this please look it up.
A brilliant book and would make a great movie on par with "The Notebook team"
A similar story with flashbacks etc set in Ireland during the troubles. -

I read "Saving CeCe Hunnicutt." I can't remember author (it's her first book.)
I pictured Gena Rowlands as the great aunt who arrives to take her great niece back to live with her in Savannah, all through the book I could see and hear Gena Rowlands in this role.Its kind of a Hallmark Hall of Fame story.But I love the ones I've seen on the Hallmark channel starring Gena Rowlands. If any is reading this,who cares,have her son,direct her in this story and the suggested -The Secret Scripture.Such a lovely,lovely person and actress.
