It's an excellent show. He's the reason I started watching in the first place, and then I just got hooked, even the episodes he wasn't on.

Same here. I watched the first two episodes of VM, but since Kyle's character was very secondary (and scheduled to appear in only 8 episodes or so), I di5b4dn't initially keep up with it. Then I read on some message boards about how good VM was, and I resumed watching out of general interest rather than because of Kyle. Now I'm hooked. I heartily recommend giving the S1 DVDs a try.
Veronica Mars
is a pretty amazing 22 hrs (less commercial time) of creatively dramatic television.
