I first saw Tony Shalhoub in Paulie and he was amazing in that movie, the way he played his character was so endearing, even though i was a kid when that movie came out, I remembered the actor ever since. Then i saw Monk and i became a bigger fan of Tony Shalhoub. He has a very endearing quality about him, even though "Monk" is an inherently selfish and flawed character, i can't help but love Monk b/c Tony Shalhoub plays him so affably. Any other actor would make Monk come across as needy and annoying but Tony just makes Monk lovable lol.

His character in Wings is my favorite. He brings warmth to Antonio, instead of being a lonely and pathetic cab driver.
