Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Kristy Swanson

    Tunaman09 — 14 years ago(February 12, 2012 09:09 PM)

According to IMDB the 4 Movies that Kristy Swanson is known for are,

    • Dude, Where's My Car? (2000)
    • Ferris Bueller's Day Off (1986)
    • Buffy The Vampire Slayer (1992)
    • Big Daddy (1999)
Now I can understand 'Buffy' being there as she is the main star, but with the rest of them it makes no sense, in 'Dude, Where's My Car?' she gets about 10mins of screen time, in 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off' she gets about 2mins of screen time and in 'Big Daddy' she gets about 5mins screen time.
All that means she gets about 20 minutes of screen time in 3 out of 4 Movies she is known for combined, it makes no sense.
Where are Movies like (as an example) 'Flowers in the Attic', 'Mannequin: On the Move', 'Deadly Friend' and 'The Chase'?. I know that those aren't as big money makers as the 3 up there but they really deserve to be there instead.
I was thinking maybe it had something to do with the ratings but both 'Hot Shots!' and 'Higher Learning' have a higher IMDB rating than 'Dude, Where's My Car?'.
Does anybody else think its a bit weird?
Last games completed: - Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (360), - Star Wars: Force Unleashed (PS3)

guess it has more to do with how well those movies did at the box officeb68 than how big or small Kristy roles were in them
