The Birds. But I also thought he was in this other movie from long ago that I can't remember the name. I thought it was "Them" or "The Triffids" but that's not it. There was a lot of odd lightening one night and most people looked up at it harmlessly. Then the next morning when everyone woke up, they were blind (the people that looked at the lights). I can't think of the moviecan someone help me out. Thanks.
Never underestimate the genius of our beloved warrior, Michael Jackson! 1958 -

I think you may be thinking of
        The Day Of The Triffids
        . (1963)
Rod wasn't in that so you may be mistaking him for Howard Keel who is the lead in that film.

I admit that I haven't seen too many of them. I really like
          Sunday in New York
, and I thought that the episode of
          The Twilight Zone
          (
And When the Sky Was Opened
) was terrifying!!! I should have hidden behind the couch while watching it.

            The Birds
Watched The Virgin Queen with Bette Davis not long ago and Rod Taylor was actually in the opening sequence, his voice gave it away for me, I don't think he was even in the credits for the movie.

The Time Machine, 101 Dalmatians, and The VIP's. It did hurt that he had some of the most beautiful and talented actresses play opposite him. Maggie Smith, Tippi Hedren, Yvette Mimieux twice.

                Oh, I remember
                101 Dalmations
. I saw it when I was a kid. I'm pretty sure it was a theatrical rereleaseor maybe I saw it on VHS. Great film!
