-and although you might consider that a "personal attack", I call it a cold, hard fact. A jackhammer couldn't penetrate your thick skull. If I'd wanted to take a swipe at your "looks" (aka "weight"), I'd have said:

But now that you've brought it up-

I think that some of the Boomers (especially on the CFB) are a bit irked because my generation knows of things like typewriters and phones with cords.
I work with predominantly people under 40, and not one of them is unfamiliar with any of these items. I'm not sure why this should be news to you. It certainly isn't to me. As for being 'irked' by itwell, I tend to save my irk for actual issues, as opposed to imaginary and/or gratuitous ones.
