Now I have to go dig out my worn out old VHS copy of Who's Minding the Mint? to get my Dorothy Provine fix! I just watched It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World the other day and she was delightful as always. Whenever I watch The Great Race I have to rewind it over and over to watch her big scene in that one.

He's an extremely genuine man and I realized he put a lot of heart in his writing. I respected him a lot for it. He didn't blame anyone for his problems or faults and you see RJ become wiser as the book progresses.
And in recent interviews, he's a very jolly man. He's very happy with his life and his accomplishments. Though he wasn't a huge star, he definately lived that Hollywood life.
I wake up from dreams and go "Wow, put this down on paper." -

To Denise;I can`t say for sure but it was believed by many in Hollywood that James Dean was Bi-sexual.At least Wagner admits to his own affairs such as the one with Barbara Stanwyck.

'Outing' would implay that Robert was the first person ever to publically mention the sexuality of these people. However, that isn't the case. It's well known (and has been documented in many Hollywood bios/autobios over the years) that James Dean was bisexual. So Robert wasn't 'outing' him. I'm pretty s2000ure that the same (sexuality being well-documented in the media over the years) applies to most of the other people he mentions.

In speaking of Sydeny Sheldon's wife's review. Were did Wagner write that Hart to Hart was about two gay men with a bed coming out of the wall? Cause i 've been through the book a couple times and have found nothing like that in his writing of the show. And I can not say I disagree with other people on amazon who say she should have taken her issues to him privatly. Cause I think she should have, greeving widow or not.

Some people even think James Dean was not just bisexual but homosexual and that his accident was actually a suicide, cause homosexuality was forbidden back then and he didn't know how to deal with it.
Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level then beat you with experience.
