THANK YOU!!! It isn't our buisness, but for those who just have to know, according to www.nndb.com/people/894/000024822/, she is straight, and dating Sam Cohn.
Is it time for my medication or yours?

Actually, kharabear, I thought they dated in the 80's and then split. He was her agent, and is apparently the godfather of her children. And Mia Farrow all but accused her of having an affair with Woody Allen during the filming of 'Radio Days'. Again, old news. She was a fabulous actress then and still is now!

I don't think there was a date on the website thing, so I didn't know how current it was. But the bottom line is , and this we both agree on, her sexual preference doesn't matter.

Wow, I'd never read that before. Anyone know the source of this rumor? I'll admit itI'm shamelessly interested to know if this is true. IMO an offscreen relationship can add subtext to what's happening onscreen. -

Hallelujah!!!! You hit the nail on the head. I am so sick of the "Is he/she gay?" everytime a person is listed as single. Can they not be unattached and straight!
Lord help us, and why does everbody care about the sexuality of these people! -

There is someone asking about their sexuality. . .
and then there's the line of time-wasters asking "Does it matter?" Clearly it does to the asker so why waste your own time and theirs NOT answering the question? You're not THAT important that you need to come onto a thread and not answer a question just to be seen.
To answer the OP's question, she is straight. She dated Samuel Cohn, an agent, for a long time.

I find it very humorous that its become Politically Correct to say We dont Care if they are gay or not. I find it humorous because everything else BUT their sexual preference in STILL on the table for discussion, while NONE of it is our business except for what they show on the big screen. So, if being gay is QUITE alright, as an alternative lifestyle, why is it NOT ok to discuss it. Since the beginning of time the most talked about topic for any actress has been, Who is she dating Ha ha ha, but NOT if they are gay Ooooppppsss, sorry, you cant ask that question because, even though it is TOTALLY OK with us, we dont talk about it. What a load of crap, since when has a fan NOT wanted to know if or who their favorite celebrity is dating.. You sound like a bunch of Politically Correct Hypocrites.

Ohh man if she turned out to be a dyke that would just make my friggin' day. But yeah, none of our business. And it's quite impressive and admirable when a celeb manages to keep their personal life as private as this woman does.

I don't know why people get so worked up when others ask about actors personal lives. These actors have chosen to be in the public arena and while I don't think it's right to know every single fact about them, we're still allowed to be a little curious.

Hi Gingerr. I don't think anyone here is getting 'worked up' over your original question. I think we all just said that we didn't care one way or another. Except Kryssi, who said she'd love it if Dianne were gay. LOL These boards are the place to be curious.

i thought these message boards were for discussing actors, not replying WHY DO WE CARE?? to every question, especially about sexuality. i was actually wondering the same thing about her; that does not make me homophobic, only curious. it wouldn't change my opinion if someone were or were not gay.
