In fact, I surfed over to these forums to find out why the heck Tom Wilson hasn't gotten better parts since BTTF. I thought he was a great villain. I can still remember how the air got sucked out of the theater when Biff pulled Marty out of the car on the night of the dance; that was a classic theater moment for me. Movies depend on great, despicable villains, and Biff was up there with the best IMHO.

I Have been a fan since the beginning and I understand the art of acting after watching the first one I remember thinking to myself you know what I bet the guy who plays Biff is a nice guy in real life and you know what I was Right!

Everyone whom I've seen quoted about Tom Wilson says that he is nothing like Biff which convinces me even more that his performance in
BTTF
is one of the most under-rated villains in movie history. I still remember watching it for the first time in 1985, and the whole theater sucking in its breath when Biff pulled McFly out of the car. Great movies depend on111c great bad guys.

A funny guy, but that doesn't translate into someone you should mess with. At 6'3 with pretty thick build (his hulking figure from BTTF is of course, diminished due to natural age), he could very well be as different in his personal life as Vince Vaughn is (with that bar fight and stuff).

Does anyone know if he played totally good-natured, nice, or heroic guys on the screen? I remember seeing him in an episode of NASH BRIDGES where he helps Don Johnson and Cheech Marin battle a gang of martial arts smugglers. Tom kicked some heavy bad guy ass, too!

I don't really know any other guys he's played besides Biff and that guy on Ghost Whisperer but supposedly he's an awesome guy. Actually, he went to my school and went through the theatre program that I'm in and my teacher said he was a real great guy. Matter of fact, for our annual huge pep rally for our big rivalry against a neighboring school football team, our theme for the rally was Back to the Future and he took time out of his schedule to record a tape in his "Biff" character just for our school telling us to beat the football team. He just seems like a really cool guy. Totally the opposite of Biff. Happy for his success though. Good for him.

Wade Williams in Prison break (Bellick) is the same way, he plays a convincing jerk wad, but from what I have been told, is one of the kindest people you will ever meet
