way of thinking.. I think she's giving back.. aka all her viewers made her rich.. why not give back?
It really is true the more you become empowered.. you may want to give back..

Oprah's always been religious and deeply spiritual.
When she had her twenty-five-year talk show, however, she had to take care not to bandy her faith too much since she sometimes had athiests on her show…she wanted to keep her show neutral in matters of religious faith.
She has
always
had a strong faith in God.

Abortion has little to do with religion.
Oprah's always been pro-choice anyway.
