Many actresses begin their careers by playing nude bimbo roles but then make the move to mainstream. Although Kari Wuhrer isn't the greatest actress out there, she did have a certain "something" beyond her hot body. However, she stayed in the straight-to-video adult-oriented genre for too long. Maybe she couldn't get the role that could have catapulted her to good mainstream roles. However, her role in "The Crossing Guard" seemed to be such role. Then again, maybe the money was just too easy.

Yup! Getting naked is your foot (or tits) through the door for most young, hungry actresses. That or screwing a director or producer. Amazing how many actresses have a nude scene early on then shut up shop as soon as they're in.
