    She is absolutely wrong for suing. Why should a television show be forced to alter her storyline so they can addomodate her pregnancy? She is an actress, which means she has to fit her chatacter however the writes/producers see fit. She chose to have a child, which is her right, but it is not her right to change the course of the entire show to suit her decisions. She made a decision and she knew what was going to happen as a result and now she is crying foul over it. Grow up! Take some personal responsibility. Way to set an example for the kid you will soon raise.

        I know they usually only film them neck up and put stuff in front of the stomach so noone will notice. Why wasnt elizabeth fired or alexis fired when they were pregnant. there is something more to it because why would someone go to all that lengths to sue ABC and use up alot of her money for something she may not win. Dont get me wrong I love Kari but I think there maybe more to it.

          She wasn't fired because she was pregnant. She was fired because she's a lousy actress, and so was Lesli Kay. I'm surprised Jennifer Bransford isn't in on the mix, although her pregnancy apparently happened a month after she was fired, but I bet she could still get something out of it. Kari Wuhrer is making a big mistake with this frivilous lawsuit against GH. Nobody's going to hire her now. Her career is over!!

            And she's not that bad. If GH kept Tamara Bruan on so long as Carly, and she sucked to hell and back, then they could have written around this s/l. I hope she wins.

              Can you PROVE that they fired her for being pregnant? You can't and neither can she. Nor can she prove her laughable assertion that she was one of the most popular actresses on daytime (she wasn't even one of the most popular actresses on GH lol). Tamara Braun had a lot of talent, thank you. Laura Wright as Carly I have a big problem with, but that's another story.

                So she has to live her personal life around a character? Getting pregnant won't change the course of the show. Like many people said, there are many ways of hiding it. for example, the woman who played Elaine on Seinfeld was pregnant during one season and I didn't know it until my mom told me. And another thing, Women can get fired for being pregnant but men can't get fired for being pregnant, why?because they can't get pregnant. But I guess soap operas are different because they're on year round, but it isn't right still.

                  This is not the case. It doesn't matter if it is a soap or a movie, Kari wasn't fired because she was preggers she was fired because she brought nothing to the show and from what I've seen a serious ego problem.

                          If you can prove that is the reason she can win her suit its not legal to fire someone if they have a documented medical condition. But she has to prove that is why.
