Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Edward Albert

A rather overlooked role that Edward Albert played was that of elder brother/ and son to a dying bank robber (Chuck Connors) in the 1981 TV series Walking Tall. His portrayal of a strong willed, back woods, bank robber with strong family ties (that man loved his "daddy")was rather believable. When I first learned that he was Eddie Albert's son,I couldnt believe it,it seemed there was very little family resemblence. However,I have recently rediscovered Green Acres courtesy of the "I" network, and it was only natural that his son,who played that memorable role on Walking Tall was also on my mind.I was shocked to see of his demise at such a young age, especially seeing as how his father Eddie passed at a ripe old age.Shame to see him go.Father and son in heaven, hopefully they are playing some memorable roles up there too.
