I have people in my life who buy me stuff lol. I also have an Aussie friend who sends me Aussie snacks.
One of my friends even offered to live with her.
I do wanna be more independent and have made aome steps to that, but it's pretty sweet that I have people in my life who are there for me.

I already explained why I'm not working yet. Transportation. Sister wants to focus on achool right now and doesn't want the stress of working out all the issues with the Jeep.
If I can find something to do from home that doesn't require full quiet (dogs bark at random ****), I'll probably take it.
But really, it's no one's business, and I'm undecided on whether I'll even tell the board when I'm working. Maybe I'm working now and you don't know lol.

You could probably find some type of remote work online. It probably wouldn't pay much but it could be something.
