That would be cool. A brief phone chat with Foley perhaps, or maybe even a mention of her might be nice, since she was so good in the original. She shouldn't play a big part, but a cameo would be nice. Hope the rewrite on the script is good, and it's great to have Ashton back! Brett Ratner as director doesn't bother me much for some reason, perhaps because he's done well with his other cop flicks. As long as this is R, then I don't care if he directs. let's hope Murphy is more like his character from the original, and not like from part two or three. His acting and dialogue in the original is perfect.

Imo I think they could write her in as a major character maybe as a character in need of help from the 3 musketeers that would make a good film story. And I agree the original was more serious in nature the other 2 were kind slapped together and kinda b-ish in nature like rush jobs with the 3rd b238eing the worst.
Too much comedy ruins a film.
The original had subtle comedy in it unlike the other 2 which was way overly done imo.
