So he's still alive in 2015. Hypothetically. Anyways, Fulci died weeks before production began for the Wax Mask, a film he co-wrote with Argento (who also produced the film) and was intended to be a big comeback for Fulci, so Argento handed it to another director (I have still yet to see the film). First off, how big of a success do you think this would have been for him? Do you think it would have been popular with the fans and revitalized his career? I mean having the names Fulci and Argento probably would have peaked the interests of that niche at th5b4e time. Do you think this would have lead to Fulci working with better producers and having stronger quality films that the last few he made in his life? Also consider that eventually, due to the films of Tarantino and Rodriguez, the exploitation film of the past have been gaining stronger cult fanbases, and also with just how huge the zombie has become in popular culture, how much pressure do you think there would be for him to make another zombie movie? Argento did a crappy 3D Dracula movie. Do you think Fulci would have made a Zombi 3D? Thoughts/speculations?
