I agree, she is amazing in it and the best thing about the show.

I completely agree. Sharon was amazing on QAF, and embraced the role so fully.

        I like her too.

I don't know about award shows but I'd rather watch Sharon than Carrie Bradshaw (Secx and the City)

Yes, she rocks the show as the easygoing mom of Michael. I just love this show.

Imdb says she's 73 now. For that age, I'd say she looks a lot younger! That's what happens I think when people don't have children 😉

Easy going? Debbie? Are we watching the same show?

Debbie is not easy going. But she is straightforward and bubbly. And she would do anything for Michael. That's why I love her. I love her attitude. She's my fave in the show, and I do too prefer her over Carrie Bradshaw. Carrie can be so annoying sometimes.

My favorite scenes of Debbie are with Brian. Intense but always loving. Sharon once remarked those were her favorite scenes as well.

I am not sure about actual discrimination, but I do think that that QAF was before it's time. Sharon Gless is an amazing actor and if QAF were on the air now I think she would have been appropriately recognized by all communities for her work on that show.

I love her, and she was always so great on QAF. The best actor on QAF hands down.

Oh man I don't know she was so loud and screechy on QAF I got pretty tired of her character during some of the shows. I liked her character, a lot, 75% of the time, and was irritated at her in a strained fond way 20% of the time, and wished she'd just shut the frak up 5% of the time how's that? She might have been the best actor on QAF hands down, I'd have to think about that for awhile. They were all so awesome.

I agree, she's fabulous on QAFI just realized that was her playing Colleen Rose on Nip/Tuck as well and it's amazing! Two completley different characters and she played them brilliantly. She's a very talented actress.
