I was genuinely saddened by this news. I thought they were THE Hollywood Couple.

Ditto fiatlux1!! What a shock when I found out!! I just re-watched all the episodes from Tales Of The Gold Monkey from Netflix. Part of the "extras" package was interviews with cast and crew filmed in September 2009. Collins was talking5b4 about how he met Faye on the Gold Monkey set and how their 25th anniversary was coming up the next year 2010. It wasn't until I looked up their bio's here on IMDB and found out he filed for divorce from her! I found other stories online with statements from both. Faye said she was blind sided and devastated after 27 years. She ended her statement with odd phrasing, something like in dog years that 289 years, she was exhausted. Is she saying she was treated like a dog and was tired of trying to make it work? I'm guessing here and not putting words in her mouth, but has anyone heard anything why?
