yes we took journalism. I worked for the college newspaper too. but the journalism class we took was an intro one and i dont think it required doing that. I think i made up a person to interview and wrote something based off what my make beleive person said just for the grade

alot of them were. I had a story where only the teacher seemed to love it which i guess all that matters?lol. he even used it as an example on the board for lecture and apparently i used a format or whatever used in writing but it was completely unintentional on my part lol
its like there's a beginning scene, then the climax happens in another scene, then the ending scene goes back to where the original scene was. not sure what thats called.
i used my mom as the main character. when ppl were critiqing it they were like "this person just sounds like a terrible mother." and i just sat there like "

it wasnt fiction but i figurd ppl would just assume its fictional just bcuz of how crazy of a story it was lol. someone else was like "yeah I hear these types of things happen irl" lol. some may have caught on -

yes, because high status people know that the way to make a coddled person's mind grow is to break it to some degree. but it gets exponentially more difficult as a person gets older.
I'm sorry it didn't work out for you. -

lmao sorry about that

I really liked Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance i know it sounds boring AF but it might actually be my favorite book ive ever read. ive read it more than once. its really hard to explain what it is about since the guy is kinda all over the place with it, but its an autobiogrpahy as well as him just talking about different aspects of life, talks about almost anything like rational and romantic perspectives on life, religion, spirituality, philosophy, the school systems, trying to find the meaning of quality which he claimed that was what drove him insane. he talks about his scizophrenia too. he is on a motorcycle trip with his son while narrating it. so its not really a story with a point but one that makes you think about a lot stuff
not meaning to redirect it to the boarding school experience but there was a book they had us read called A Thousand Splendid Suns and to this day it is still my favorite along with the other i just mentioned. Not many ppl seem to have read it from just talking to ppl who read. they only seem to have heard of it or only know Kite Runner, but a Thousand Splendid Suns to me is way better. it is sad though. -

thanks!

wow that book club sounds awesome btw. usualy ppl i talk to are just like "damn thats crazy" or whatever and no additional comments
what are those about? i could probably read those in a couple weeks when im done with school and let you know
I think you should read that other one. i think ppl who like books seem to all appreciate it. also not pretentious since its no one trying to be smart or whatever but its very emotional and from a female perspective and from a male author. he captured the female voice very well. -
