Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Giorgio Moroder

Which do you think are his best scores?
I only know him for the beautiful music he composed for
    Midnight Express.
This world is a comedy to those that think, a tragedy to those that feel.

I've always been a fan of Scarface, personally.

The ORIGINAL score for Scarface, as heard on film.
Look up the bootleg soundtrack, there's nothing like it.

Or you visit his Soundcloud to listen to the songs in even better quality than the bootleg.

I did, but still found some tracks missing while others were entirely re-scored or cut down to much shorter versions. (Example, the shootout scene has some good music after the chainsaw maniac jumps out of the window and limps outside the building, which plays up to where Tony comes out and shoots him). It does not exist anywhere I've look, even if it's a short sample loop, it sounds great. The full version of the opening theme has also not been released, as well as the music played during Manny's death, when Tony visits his mother and sister (both variations of "Gina's Theme", but completely different in tone), or even Sosa's theme. Bootleg, while horrible quality, got it half right with the ones I've been looking for. But Giorgio did provide the soundtrack's dance themes, so I am grateful for those at least.
