Just saw a rerun of the episode you are referring to. Completely agree, her attitude was unnecessary. She was negative, complained a lot, and acted like a spoiled, ungrateful brat. I didn't know much about her and after the episode was over, I didn't like her at all.

She was awful. Outright rude to Stacy and Clinton, and especially to the hair stylist (can't remember his name). She came across as a spoiled know-it-all. The massive 180 she had right before the final reveal to S&C made it seem as if her agent/manager was show the clips from the previous week and realized how poorly Shannon came across.
Shannon was in her mid-20s w5b4hen American Pie came out, so she was not a child or teenager being taken advantage off. She could have not signed up for the other American Pie films. And she can't complain about her 'celebrity' because she is clearly using it to promote her jewelry line. It was also clear she was cast for this show because they thought it would bring in ratings. That being said, as a previous comment said, Shannon could have easily said no. But I am guessing she decided to do this as a promotion for her jewelry line.
Yes other people on What Not to Wear have been rude and stuck in their way. I don't ever remember any of them being so clearly rude to everyone and not changing. -

importia,
I have no idea how old you are but I'm a grown man with over twenty years experience in the field of psychology, and I can tell you, most people in their 20s do not have vision and aren't savvy. I expect that goes double a beautiful young woman, probably flatter all her life, and then under the control of Hollywood types.
She kept saying over and over, "I'm not the characters I play!" in a defensive way. That indicates that she wasn't expecting to be associated with them all the time. Since one is a masturbating sex kitten, it must get into the realm of heinousness to function.
That's just common sense. -

The first thing I thought of when she came up for birthdays was how she treated Ted Gibson. She did not want to change that hair. He maintained decorum quite well. It's unfair to show up for a reality show check and not fulfill your end of the bargain. Attit16d0udes weigh more than actions.
