Just as many of us suspected, Alex is really playing the German widower, Stefan Lubert, in The Aftermath. Apparently, the author had tweeted this and it now indicates this on IMDb.
I think this is good because Lubert sounds like the more complex role. And it will be more fun to see Alex as the lover rather than the husband. -

That makes w
aaaa
y more sense.
He's much more believable as someone you'd cheat on your husband with,
than a husband you'd cheat on. Because duh
And also, better match looks/accent wise.

Yes, absolutely! Alex makes more sense as the guy you lust after. I think it will also be the more complicated role too. I wonder when this shoots? -

He has a daughter in this one too right?
Makes me wonder how much of his "sizzle reel" is
Maisie
.
Cus this will be his third "daddy" role.
(4th if you want to be creepy/psychoanalytical about it)

I think he does have a daughter in this.
Yes, Maisie could have helped. I also think Tarzan and the fact that he's been getting really good reviews in everything (Diary of a Teenage Girl, War on Everyone, etc.) is helping too.
