Hi.did not know that but then I don't have horses anymore.
So Fur babies have cost me half a weekend.
Took them out for a run found a burr patch.

And Molly has really long hair. Hours of brushing combing and swearing and basically loosing half my weekend because if you leave them they work their way into skin and cause a lot of irritation and if left unchecked they make nasty sores and you have to have your dog shaved and put on anti biotics..not happening so hours later and three plastic supermarket bags later I'm pretty sure I got them all.
She's not talking to me now though. Border Collies sulk big time this will probably last a week I'm guessing.She looks beautiful now though.

Our council decided to plant the sides of the road with native plants and the weeds have come with them fantastic really. Iwas told they are pulling them all out and rethinking too bloody late really!!

Mum wants to do Christmassy things so we went to Krner's Folly which is decorated for Christmas. It is the weirdest house you'll ever see.
Tonight she wants to go to a Christmas concert.
I'm going to have to send her back to MN. She's wearing me out. -

FYI If you come visit me at this time of year it will be festive.
We were actually discussing going to the local Carols this year.
Last year we went to Carols by Candlelight in the city. Amazing although it was 43
degrees and no shade so until te sun went down it was very very hot.
Play this for her it's the one we went to.
She'll probably want to bring you here next. nudge nudge, wink wink.

I'm not Grinchy, I just don't decorate for two people. I don't mind doing Christmassy things but I haven't had the money to do them for the last few years and my MCM was a Grinch when it came to presents. So I'm sure the tree will go up in the next couple of weeks. (I even bought a new ornament this year)
Just got done watching Love Actually. One of my favorite Christmas movies. Now that I could do all day - watch Christmas movies. -

Told MCM to go in with his sister and get me a new Nook. My color one died and they now have small color/internet access Nooks for $49. He gave me a "we'll see" when I suggested it. I'm sure his wife will make him buy Christmas presents this year.

I'm sure she'll pull him into line. haha I actually meant from Mummy but yes he should. It annoys me that some of my friends kids don't show them love at Christmas. My sister in law and I decided to exchange handmade gifts this year so much better. She made me a lovely Christmas cake so now I don't have to make one and I gave her homemade preserves and she loved it so we are thinking of telling the kids next year to go this way. I gave all the kids a gift card and a bag of homemade gingerbread .

Watched the weird house vid. Neat. Good that they saved the house. So much architectural detail. I'm sure fifty years from now heritage societies will want to preserve and protect homes featuring skillfully crafted popcorn ceilings and hollow core mahogany doors. Not.
Skipped through the carols by candlelight vid because that mofo is over two hours long. A little cognitive dissonance to the whole sitting on the grass whilst people sing about dashing through the snow but looks like a hell of a concert.

haha yes it was and for the first 3 hours it was so hot I actually though I might pass out. There is no shade on that lawn believe me. I usually watch it on TV as I'm usually cooking but B bought us tickets to go so J & I did. Hottest year in years. hahahaha oh well 16d0at least it didn't rain but we did hit a bar afterwards dressed in all our Christmas garb. It's a very traditional Christmas eve and they sing mainly traditional carols but yes I would have done anything for a bucket of snow poured on me. Great night though.
