haha yes it was and for the first 3 hours it was so hot I actually though I might pass out. There is no shade on that lawn believe me. I usually watch it on TV as I'm usually cooking but B bought us tickets to go so J & I did. Hottest year in years. hahahaha oh well 16d0at least it didn't rain but we did hit a bar afterwards dressed in all our Christmas garb. It's a very traditional Christmas eve and they sing mainly traditional carols but yes I would have done anything for a bucket of snow poured on me. Great night though.

The one we listened to didn't have any but it was sponsored by Hodo House they are super rich and their house and light display is massive.

Morning Love your tree we have a few new things this year but not a lot. We still only have half of our stuff out with the reno's taking up half of my house. Not going to be done by Christmas but hopefully not long after. Bloody rain has a lot to answer for.
I will send some photos when I take them but we have a new roof over the whole house now.

With the new furniture in the livingroom there's no place to put a Christmas tree, so I was saved.
MCM and wife came over to work on her car Sat (mum and I went pillow hunting. Alas no black leather pillows to be found) and then yesterday to deliver Christmas presents (they're heading to MN this Friday). MCM finally made up for all those Christmases he didn't give me anything. He couldn't stand the thought of me getting another Nook so he bought me an iPad. It ranks right up there with the killer bunny slippers (Vito and Alphonse) I got a couple of years ago. For some reason it won't sync with my iBooks on my Mac so I spent a few hours side loading books from Calibre. Probably around 590 books so far. LOL I really need to quit dling books and read the ones I've got.

Oooo your spoiled and I guess he's made up for past indiscretions. That's a pain when things wont transfer easily. I was thinking that the other day when I grabbed another book from book bub I'm like no more read what you have hahaha still did it.

Too late I already bought material to make some pillow covers.
My mum only puts a few books on her iPad at time too. So she has bookbud emails saved if she wants those books.
My books obsession is sort of like my fabric obsession (though I haven't bought fabric in ages) I see it, I want it and the price is right, I get it. I'll read it/sew it eventually.
