Today we went to the zoo as my son bought my Mum a Meerkat experience. Anyway it's forecast to be 36 (96.8) and I'm thinking maybe I should reschedule as my Mum is not good in the heat. I rang and they said it's very popular so unless medical reason then there's no reason to cancel. So we get to the zoo on opening and decide we'll look around the zoo first as my parents have not been for many years then when it gets hot we'll go and have lunch to cool down before the Meerkat experience. My phone rings have you left to come to the zoo yet because hi we've had to cancel it it's too hot for the Meerkats!!!!!!!!! Unbelieveable I had words let me tell you. By this stage it was 101 F and my Mum was struggling so bad.

Other than the lapse into Hallmark holiday movies I do all that anyway. Even with her gone I doubt I'll watch tv on the actual tv. I way to far behind to watch anything currently on. Might catch the odd movie though.
Just eliminated for shows off my list. I'm getting bored with them. Down to only 19 shows. lol. Of course the winter crop of shows hasn't started yet that I know of. -

I've got one episode of Strange Things to go. Must say I'm really enjoying it it's sort of like early stephen king books. I haven't even had time to start any of my back log so that's not ideal.

I gave up after 5 eps. Too horror like for me.
spent the evening in the emergency room with mum. Racing heart. Never did see the doctor. We gave up and came home. She'll try and get into a doctor tomorrow. Heart seems fine now. -

Must be the time of year my Dad was taken by ambulance because the doctor thought he was having a heart attack but when they got him to hospital and ran tests they couldn't find anything. He has to go and have stress testing etc. on Friday before they can be 100% sure he's in the clear. When they get to the age they are we need to be 100% sure. Finger crossed she's ok.
I like it but then I've always been into horror.

Yes they gave Dad one of those but now to rule out anything they have t do a stress test and something else. Dad's father died from a massive heart attack so we've always been mindful of that.
