LOL, I've just started True Blood too (Midway season 3), and the title of this thread says it all. I say "Damn" at least a couple times per episode when Eric appears on screen.
He's definitely the only reason I'm continuing to watch. -

He gets more screen time lol. Lemme know what you think about the story arc (I hate spoilers so I'll just say that and invite anyone to educate me on how to post those spoiler alert posts)
I'm mostly a lurky type who laughs at idiots, but now I've joined the eejit brigade. Is there a ritual? If there's alcohol I'm in. Otherwise I'm too old for this beep (bonus points if you got the reference). I know more than a handful of guys from various movies and shows but never had the pleasure of Alexander. Joe I'd hoped to meet next year and Jeffrey Dean Morgan too but with their Batman commitments I doubt they'll be free. Those two hunks are my usual type, dark broody and cheeks you could strike a match off (even if I don't smoke lol) so I'm quite surprised Alexander attracts me.
I must say, Sookie is an annoying as fk character if you come down to brass tacks It's testament to Anna Paquin that she makes her likeable. Her rendition of pink colada is great (watch out for it, not really a spoiler lol) I've bought the comics but I'd like to read the books too. I usually read first watch later.
Anyway I'm up to season 5 and the cast is smallerlots of human and True Deaths
keep watching to see if our Viking makes it -

amnesia
, but
post-amnesia
he's kind of boring to me.
I finished Season 4 and I don't know if I'll continue. I like the Sookie-Bill-Eric love triangle aspect, but all of the other stuff is getting boring to me.
I've been looking into Alex's other work. There's a film called
Melancholia
on Netflix that I started, and it looks interesting but I wasn't in the mood for a deep, emotional,5b4 cerebral film so I stopped.
Tarzan
, obviously, looks like it's worth two hours of my life, but I'm not willing to pay for it right now. If I'm going to pay for one, it'll be
What Maisie Knew
. That looks pretty great.
I've watched some interviews too. He's extremely funny and smart and kind of dorky which is endearing. Seems like a genuinely nice guy. I hope he has a successful career that takes him out of sex symbol territory and into some meaty and challenging roles. -

AS isn't in very much of Melancholia just to let you know. Better choices would be, besides What Maisie Knew, The East and Generation Kill. Some of his older stuff is good too. He's never bad in any of them, but some of movies themselves are so-so or AS is only in them small amounts.

I kinda figured that. I loved the opening scene with them in the limo trying to get down the winding road though. Cracked me up.
It's an interesting looking movie that I'll probably watch at some point, not necessarily for him.
Thanks for the other suggestions. I was hoping to find "free" stuff on Amazon Prime and/or Netflix, but the pickins are slim. -

The interviews he did for Tarzan and Comic Con for true blood are good too.
