Fallen Angels just came out on DVD and he is incredible. How he keeps going is amazing? You should check him out in Fallen Angels, he is real good.

This guy has a bunch of movies as well, although I'd like to know who's the "real" actor credited with most movies. Who knows, might be McCarthy.

William Smith has something like 262 credits on his IMDB page, he played Conans Dad in Conan the Barbarian.

                    Charles Lane - 345
But his roles, while speaking ones, were never as big as McCarthy's
                    Bess Flowers - 755
But she was not much more than an extra in many
Then there's a guy like this:
                    http://www.imdb.com/board/20424530/
who had over 300 hundred credits and died at age 39. But he worked in the early days of silent movies when there were many shorts made. He actually had over 100 (one hundred) credits in 1909 alone! There are probably many actors like him with small roles in churned-out silent shorts.

Oliver Hardy at 408 but many of his were short subjects with Stan Laurel also many movies made between 1900 and 1929 were produced rapidly. Some actors could be in five or more films a year.

If were talking all credits (not just acting ones), check out Hal Roach. His producing credits alone add up to well over 1000.

He's definitely had one of the longest careers in the business - over 60 years now. And he's going to be 95 next year and he's still working.
Oh, I once contacted him through his website and received a very nice email from him. Kevin McCarthy rocks!

The immediately thought of Mel Blanc (over 1000 'acting' credits and then more).

I'm sure you younger movie fans won't recognize his name, but you might want to check out Tom London. This quote is from Tom's biography here on IMDB: "Listed in the Guiness Book of World Records for having appeared in more films than any other actor (into the thousands)." Tom was usually cast in a speaking role because of his great voice. Though he was not billed as 'the star', he was a wonderful character actor from the golden days of westerns.
