The immediately thought of Mel Blanc (over 1000 'acting' credits and then more).

I'm sure you younger movie fans won't recognize his name, but you might want to check out Tom London. This quote is from Tom's biography here on IMDB: "Listed in the Guiness Book of World Records for having appeared in more films than any other actor (into the thousands)." Tom was usually cast in a speaking role because of his great voice. Though he was not billed as 'the star', he was a wonderful character actor from the golden days of westerns.

William Schallert has 356 entries, most of them in TV shows. His first credit was in 1947, and, at age 88, he has two credits in 2010.

Not trying to be rude, but porn actors sometimes have more than 1000. Also, voice actors like Mark Hammil have alot.

There are many, MANY actors who have way more credits (especially those 'supporting' guys from the '50's through the '70's). You know - the dude whose face you see in EVERYTHING but don't know his name - Lol!
