      😞
I'm starting to hate surfing to IMDB. It seems every other day were losing one of the greats.
      Thank you Kevin! Thank you.

It's funny, I rewatched Innerspace the other night (seeing it 12 years prior) and was wondering, "Gee, the villain in this seems awfully familiar to R.J. Fletcher. I wonder if he's still alive?"
But now, it appears he's passed on, leaving memories of his best roles with us.
RIP Mr.McCarthy, R.J. you sure knew how to steal a mop.
Now I have three sequels. Ho ho ho.

That's a shame. I was hoping he would reach 100
I loved this guy. I'm gonna watch some of his work this week as a tribute to him
                    May he rest in peace

Goodbye to a talented and very versatile actor. Loved Kevin's roles in joe Dante's Twilight Zone segment and Innerspace. A true hollywood great.

R.I.P. Mr. McCarthy. He was indeed a great actor who could easily have won an Oscar for his performance in the original (and still unsurpassed) Invasion of the Body Snatchers. It should have been a thr1ebcee-way tie in 1956 for Best Actor: Mr. McCarthy, Charlton Heston (as Moses, in The Ten Commandments), and Yul Brynner, who did win the award for his role as the King of Siam in The King and I although he might just as well have won the award for his performance as another imperious monarch: Rameses, in The Ten Commandments. Mr. McCarthy will always be remembered by fans of classic sci-fi films, as well as "The Twilight Zone." He seemed very affable and good-humoured in all the interviews that he gave. R.I.P.
