I don't know a great deal about this lady but since been captivated by her looks and acting ability ever since I saw her Murder One, I was at a loss as to how Bobbi did not become a bigger star. Living in the UK, it is difficult (while not impossible,) to follow the careers of certain actors who work mainly in US television (I am also thinkin go Yancy Butler here). I was only reminded of Bobbi while watching an episode of TV version of The Magnificent Seven.
I know some contributors here have commented on her no-nudity clause and her knowledge that she isn't going to go any further up the ladder are possible reasons why she hasn't become a bigger star. Please correct me if I am wrong on this as I just glanced over many of the postings here.
Whether the above is true or not, by watching her again, I was reminded of just how good this lady is. The reason she is not an A-list star is that no producer/director has taken the a chance and cast in a project where her true talent can shine. Having said that, both your film and television industries are far bigger than anywhere else so making the move from TV to the big screen can be difficult yet not impossible. Still Bobbi has displayed a wide acting range if you consider her roles in Murder One and Chameleon.
Lets hope Hollywood rediscovers and makes her an offer she cannot refuse which hopefully will place among the Hollywood A-List.

I think Bobbie would have been a great Bond girl (I suppose she still can be). When I look at how Denise Richards practically ruined The World Is Not EnoughI think Bobbie would have made a far more legitimate smokin' hot scientist.

Guys, I'm getting conflicting messages here. One person says she's the best actress ever and deserves to work alongside Tom Cruise, another person says she should star in '24' which would be mediocre to ok, but this is the best! Bobbie Phillips as a Bond Girl? Bond totty???
Really, I'm not being sarcastic, but isn't that a little insulting given that so many people think she's the next female Laurence Oliver?

Andertusa, sorry you don't like my opinion but it's here to stay. The truth is ugly, like your mother in the morning. That said, Bobbie is a lovely woman but all the fan-love adoration in the world cannot help her if she hasn't made it already. Sad to say younger actresses, half Bobbies age, are coming up all the time. If Bobbie didn't make it by now (and she's had 15 years at trying) then she may not make it at all.
Question. If she's so into 'acting', where's her movies? 'Last Flight Out'??? Yeah, you got that right.
BTW, yes she's done a lot of work (TV, comedies, drama, episodes guest starri2000ng etc). This tells me she's a 'jack of all trades'. It also tells me she's majored in nothing concrete.
Omce again - so everyone understands, I don't dislike Bobbie, I admire her, but I am against her worshipping her when the facts (the movies) don't back up the evidence.
In plainer language, I don't buy into this thing about Bobbie being a great actress, she's mediocre at best. The one good thing she had going for her she closed off, i.e., her body. I'm that honest, but not pretentious.
                  Keth.

yeah, thought that might get you goat anderhousen.
I'm sure your mother looks fine in the monrning. Actually I like the older woman. That said, I forgive you for suggesting myself and keth go off and fornicate with iron sticks - I don't even get that, but ok.
It is funny you mention the word fornicate, as if you view Bobbie as hollier than though and whiter than white - she's made enough erotic thrillers and the like and bared enough flesh herself in her time which incidentally is ok with me. I'm not saying Bobbie fornicates - god no, but some of the stuff was near-softcore, if stylishly made (Luscious Lola, Hustle etc).
Any old fashioned 'Bobbie-the Body' fans out there. or are we all on the highway to heaven?

On a TV message board I post on I've said a few times that Bobbie Phillips is one actor/actress who I'd love to see in "24". She'd be believable in an action role as a CTU field agent.

She would be good at that. Servicable. But again, thats small time given the time Bobbie's been around. It's sad really. She actually reminds me of George Clooney. He looks and sounds great but he has no pizazz!!!!.
the lights are on but it's a tv special.
