I don't think I like the precognition theory. That's what I first thought when she had that line "I knew before either of you did" concerning Nathan/Peter's powers But after the scene with her and Mr. Devaux (no clue on how to spell that, sorry) on the roof, she said that Linderman informed her that Peter/Nathan would be ready to play their parts, and I have to assume that Linderman was getting that information from Isaac's paintings that Simone said he constantly bought. She's been caught off-guard a lot more, lately, too.
Regardless, she'd better have something kickass. Her character is far too cool to drop a useless power on. I'm looking at YOU, Micah. -

Ahh, well dang. Now that you've made your points I'm doubting my theory haha. And I agree with you, if her power isn't something kickass it'll be a dissapointment. S2000he's my favorite non-main character.

For the future 56 year old women and the current. I thank you for that comment. I wish Cristine could read it, I know when I'm 56, I'd want to read the same thing. -

Possible spoilers
I started thinking earlier this season that Angela had the power of suggestion, or could do the "Jedi Mind Trick." I started thinking this when she screamed at Matt with her mind in the interrogation room. Then the way she was touching Heidi outside Nathan's hospital room when she was asking her to keep the secret of Nathan's "mental illness" seemed a little out of character and I thought maybe she needs to touch her to help influence her.
After last night's episode (2x11), I think she may be a little more interesting. We know that in general, children of one of the heroes tend to have some ability themselves. When Matt was told that he could do everything his father could do, I started wondering about Claire and Adam and the possibility that Adam is Nathan's father and the healing power skipped a generation. Of course, he could be Nathan's grandfather, great-grandfather, etc, or common ancestor to all the heroes, even Hiro.
So back to Angela and last night's episode. When Elle sneaks into her father's office to look at her file, it is a 4" file box labeled "Elle Bishop Vol 1 of 1." We know they did extensive tests on her since she was a small girl and she has been an operative for The Company. Now to the left of her file we see two boxes labeled "Robert Bishop Vol 1 of 3" and "Robert Bishop Vol 2 of 3" We know Bob has the Midas Touch, but with 3 volumes to his file, he may have a number of other powers, although the file may also include his field ops. Now the kicker is to the right of her file starts a7ec row of boxes starting with "Angela Petrelli Vol 1 of 7." She's got 7 volumes to her file and is Peter's mother. I'm assuming she's going to be pretty badass when her powers are revealed. Another reinforcement of this was when Peter took on Matt's power of suggestion outside the vault. The sound effect was very similar to when Angela "shouted" at Matt as mentioned earlier. I also have the feeling she may have the Shanti virus voluntarily to control her powers.
Another little observation of that scene for those of you that have made it through my rambling is that when Elle opens her empty file she is not in the center of the frame. The camera pans and zooms in at this point, but the center of the frame is on the 4 volumes over her shoulder that are on the shelf above her file and seemingly isolated. I couldn't make out the name very well, but it appeared to be Paula Crammer (or Grammer) Vol 1 of 4. -

After Out of time which shows that Maury, Angela and Adam all had 7 out of 7 files boxes, I figured evergone had did. But, the fact that other people had less shows that Angela, Maury and Adam are major players, in the power area. But with The Petrelli boys both being considered hopes for the world, by different people, I'm gonna guess both Petrelli's had a great power and were looked up as having off-spring with equally great power. I'm sure Angela and Arthur were respected and caused jealous.
But, I have to disgree that Angela has suggestion. The sound effect your heard is from Matt's point of view and I think how he hears people. The writers just also said (in an interview), "Angela does not have the same power as Matt, " but, "Peter does have Angela's power and it has already been established (by Peter) on the show." My guess is that somewhere in all the different dream like powers Peter has manifested2000 from Astral projection (my guess) to precog dreaming to communicating in a dream like world, lies where Charles Power begins and Angela's power ends. Meaning somewhere in there are two powers and not one. Since Angela seems to always know what is going on aroud her, I'd guess Astral projection, but since it's pretend there us no way of knowing the true details of what Angela can do until they show us. Another reason this writers strike is killing me.
As for suggestion: No one on the show has ever listened to Angela. Nathan flew away and saved the world etc etc. If my husband told me he could fly and my mother in law said "Hey, he's crazy like his father." And you know that Peter also had a problem in that area (as far as you know) I'd believe her too. I'd believe her and maybe take my children away. Although a man on his "Death" bed that's pretty terrible. The touching (something some people think is how she uses suggestion)was something Cristine Rose thought up on set and the director liked because it was, "Creepy." So, not in the writing. And kinda in Canon. Mom touched a lot and her boys learned the same thing. Ahh, they'll Italian. And if making gold only gives you three file boxs I want to think telling people "Just" what to do (like Eden and not Maury and Matt I mean) would make seven file boxes. Sevenoutaseven now that's a good screen name.
