My two cents: "Race is an illusion."
I'm not an old-school Mormon who could believe that black people are from the cursed line of Cain (who slew his brother Abel), thus creating the darker color. It's funny (to me, anyway) how anyone could have ever come to believe that. With all of the scientific studies and the abundance of information in regards to various cultures and genetics, I am shocked that anyone (with the facts in his/her face) could even believe in something such as different races of human beings. Now, I could see if we were discerning between evolutionary stages of humans, but the world is still somehow stuck on "race" based on color. First of all, I act the way I act because of the environment that I have grown up in. If this so-called "race" existed the way most people express, then I should somehow have a knack for creating spears and tribal dancing, but I don't. Most of the folks in my so-called race actually do not connect well with me because of various differentiating factors in culture/environment.
Various folks always throw out coin phrases like "Black men are so good at sports." Well, it all depends on the genetic line of the individual. If my ancestors consist of plantation slaves that were only bred with the best of the best, and also consist of African tribe members who lived in the wild and continuously hunted for food and built their homes with their own hands, then (genetically) it should make sense if my body could build muscle easily and if I could run as quickly as the wind. If my ancestors were from a bourgeois line of wealthy British and French cultures, the availability of books were much more easily accessible to my ancestors than a tribesman. So, after continuing generation after generation of my ancestors studying mathematics and science, it would genetically make sense if I could grasp high-end technological concepts and mentally retain equations for calculating density or calculating specific products pertaining to physics. If the whole world had progressed exactly the same with the exact climate conditions, people (as a whole) would have ended up having the same skin color/complexion and very similar physiques and hair with a very similar intelligence/sophistication level across the board. Genetics and culture make us who we are, not some fabricated "race" that dictates that certain people with a particular skin color will have predefined physical/psychological/emotional traits. I can't believe people are still stuck on "race." For such an educated age of humanity, the focus on "race" negates all of the scientific findings that have been recorded. For someone like me in this day and age to believe in "race" is almost like playing dumb, despite the collective facts.

What does race matter. It's the quality of person NOT the color of their skin or bloodline.
There are two facts: we all bleed the same color red and we all stem from Africa. EVERYONE.
This includes all you Puritan rednecks. So drop the race card and stop the hate based on things you can't change. STOP THE HATE! -

Iranian - Persian is same same.
And Farsi is indeed the language of Iran. There are folks who live and grow in the regions around the southern edge of the Caspian that speak Farsi & in some cases claim to be Persian.
