Unbelievably Idiotic

Actually, I'm currently not living in America although I had been living there for a period of time. What I'm saying is that I find her to be very lacking in the intelligence department. By the way, I also don't believe that the Emmys is the end all critique of quality. Her show winning this award also goes to show how weak her competition is. I mean it's not tough to beat Dr. Phil, who i mentioned in my earlier post, and some other show I've honestly never heard of. I actually said that the fact that she is allowed to have a show, and that she has a large fan base disgusts me. Now i can also, add the fact that it won an emmy to my list of reasons I'm disgusted Now, to be honest I haven't watched very much of her show because I'm not a masochist, but I've seen enough of it and her behavior to see what kind of person she is. She's a person of ignorance and self righteousness, always on her high horse forcing her opinions and beliefs on others. She won't accept the idea of her being wrong and will go to any lengths, regardless of how low they may be, to make her look like the "victor" in the discussions/arguments she has with some of the guests she asks to appear on her show. The reason why her program is still on tv is because the average dumb american will watch any crap that's displayed on the idiot box, as you can see by the amount of beep that is shown on tv everyday. 5b4They will listen to any idiot that spews their filth for the rest of the world to hear, simply because they do not know any better. I'm not saying that everyone is like that of course, and i still respect your opinion. I'm not over analyzing her at all. Her idiocy just becomes more and more apparent with each action and attempt at making a thoughtful statement she makes, and that idiocy and stupidity just comes off blatantly to me. I know I'm not alone in my opinion of her, and I'm not surprised to hear the stories floating around here of people meeting her in reality and her being a complete bitch. Sounds just like the person Tyra would be.

Haha, sorry I just didn't know it was possible for someone to beep up so badly in one sentence of English. I mean, I can excuse a typo or two, in a paragraph of text, but jesus the only excuse you could have for this is if you were dyslexic and/or mentally challenged in some way. And maybe you should come up with a comeback to what i said after my original post, since you obviously ignored that. But, I can't blame you, since you probably have terrible reading comprehension. Understandable, with you being a fan of beep like the Tyra Banks Show.

Here's a novel idea.. Many of us Americans don't give a "flying- rats-*ss" about what others in foreign countries think about our TV programs or what they conclude about our intelligence or lack therof based on those shows!!!!! Tyra Banks is successful, accomplished and loved by many. I'm sure this lessens the impact of what someone in Tea Kettle England,Tortillia Spain, Bamboo Korea, or Marinara-Sauce Italy thinks of her OR her/our intelligence level!!!!!

Whoa, I think I may have misled you. I'm far from being a foreigner. I am basically an American, having lived there for most of my life, and I often do refer to myself as being an American, regardless of my family's background in Europe. I'm not one of tb68hose stereotypical foreigners with an overly anti-american mindset. I have no problem with calling myself an American, and feel no shame in doing so. I understand that you and the rest of the fans of Tyra Banks may not care about what I think about her or her show. I'm just getting my opinion out there on a forum dedicated to discussion about her. That being said, it's also possible to say that Hitler was successful, accomplished, and loved by many. What's your point? Does that mean someone isn't allowed to dislike Hitler, or call his admirers/followers Nazi bastards. I'm not forcing you or anyone else to share the same opinion as me, and I recognize that this is just my opinion. But, come on admit it, she's a beotch.

She embodies exactly what is wrong with American television today.
I am a little la5b4te but I think this is what "misled" them. Why say anything about America? I am European but was raised in America. I get bored with the television there and just don't watch. But I have never said it until now and I certainly wouldn't say it to any Europeans while I am there. It would be rude; I am Italian so that should make it OK but yet I still wouldn't mention it. -

Tortillia Spain
We got "tortill
i
a de patatas" in Spain.
However, "tortillas" are more related to the Mexican gastronomy.
BTW, I'm a foreigner and I do like Miss Banks.
But, I do respect the OP's opinion.
And, IMO, he/she's spot on about Maury Povich and Doctor Phil.

Now, to be honest I haven't watched very much of her show
That just lost you some serious crediblity right there. How are you going to judge a show you've barely seen?
I watch her show quite a bit, and I say so what if she tries to give advice to the guests or tries to tell them that they might want to reconsider some of the things they do or choices they make. First off, she is far from the first talk show host to do that, and second of all, most of what she says to her guests are things that they needed to hear LONG before they went on her show. Some of her guests have done some pretty off-the-wall things, some of which even made me go "what the hell?!" And I'm a very "anything goes" type of person. Mind you, I don't always agree when Tyra admonishes a guest, but many times she is spot on. The same goes for when she praises her guests, but of course people want to forget about that and just concentrate on the negative things she's said.
I know I'm not alone in my opinion of her, and I'm not surprised to hear the stories floating around here of people meeting her in reality and her being a complete bitch. Sounds just like the person Tyra would be.
There are stories like that attached to EVERY celebrity. There are also personal accounts of people who have met her and thought she was an angel. But what makes for better press, especially in this time where we have an insatiable craving to see public figures at less than their best (even though most of us would never admit it)?
