I love Tyra and that's why I watch both of her shows.
If you don't like her then simply don't watch either of her shows, and don't come to websites and message boards about her
. Why bother searching for and seeking out a woman you don't like? It's one thing not to like someone becuase then they just aren't your cup of tea. But it's another thing to seek out their message board to bad mouth them because then you are just bein a

I agree. Tyra Banks is a successful business woman; when most models careers end after 30, she's become an entrepreneur. She could use her pull (stifling laughter) to inspire young girls who look up to her. But instead of using what influence she has for good, she focuses on topics like, 'let me show you my breasts are real' and 'I can wear my own real hair' and 'I have cellulite, too, wanna see?' and 'I don't need makeup to be pretty let's do a show about it!' She is FULL OF HERSELF that it disgusts me. I am gagging right now and wait, no, wait, now I'm going to hurl. THANKS A LOT, TYRA!

Maybe it's this simple She doesen't OWE you or anyone else the benefit of "her pull". She has two shows of the subject matter that she want's. If you want to see Tyra cover the things that she covers (and obviously MANY do) then watch her shows. If you want spiritual all universal guidance then might I suggest one or more of the many, many religious/self-help shows that are on television tod2000ay. Maybe one of those can help give guidance to your wayward girl children and confused women folk, but that's NOT Tyra's job, sorry.

You are so right! She's disgustingly full of herself and never misses an opportunity to point out how beautiful she is and never has any clue how to conduct an interview. She never seems to use her brains and is full of contradictions. She's a disgrace.

I have to say, when Bow Wow professed his crush on Tyra and then when she found out, she had to expose it on her TV show, I found to really show how egotistical Tyra can be. Wow. It's like come on come on my show so you can show the world how much you like me.

I don't think she's stupid but I have a problem with her shows, especially ANTM: all participants are all supposed to be in awe of Tyra Banks. Whatever happens in the show, she cannot be questioned and she's supposed to be the voice of wisdom that tells the girls how things are supposed to be. It has to be her way and nothing else is allowed. These shows are not that challenging: all the girls have to follow the same path and it's absolutely impossible to have a different opinion at the risk of being sent home. There are pictures of her everywhere, she looks faaaabulous, she's witty, rich and successful, blah blah blah Hearing all these girls screaming "Tyraaaaaaa maaaaiiiiiil!!!" every 10 minutes is so painfulI know it's her show, but please, some humility wouldn't hurt. She's trying so hard to be this inspiring motherly top model who's seen it all that it's getting fake.
I guess she's happy with the concept (same for old things for 17 cycles) although ratings are falling down but she wants so much to be an irreproachable ex-top model and business woman. In the end, she just looks dull and vapid.

the funny thing is, back in the day she seemed cool and stuff. She use to be funny too, like when she acted on Fresh Prince or guest starred on Mad TV. I think she should try and do more acting, and do less that has to do with her actual self.

I agree with you for the most part. She does seem nice in a way but in another way she comes off as narcissistic. One thing that really turned me off about her was when one time on ANTM she made the girls do a catwalk on a CONVEYOR BELT in sky high heels! They were supposed to jump on this moving conveyor belt in heels and do a fashion show! Most of the girls busted their asses trying to do that and I'm surprised no one broke an ankle or their neck! If I would been on that show I would have said "Screw that!" and walked off. No competion is worth almost breaking a bone over for Tyra Banks. I bet you a thousand bucks she would never, ever do that herself. And that's just what pissed me off about her.
