I was watching the episode with the sixteen year old stripper and how her father lets her strip and Tyra was all like Youre a bad father, you dont take care of your daughter. Tyra gets so into her own beliefs and ideas about how the world should be that she never realizes that there is another side to that issue.
If the father said to his daughter, No more stripping, you will go to school and do your homework and never again, while you are under my roof, will you strip. The girl would scream and curse and hate her father. Then, the second she turns eighteen she leaves her father, still hating him, and he never sees her again. And the girl, feeling like she has to prove something, gets into even more dangerous situations than she was already getting into.
I think Tyra needs to get off her high horse and really think about situations like that, or at least stop berating parents who are not as saintly as her own dear mother is.

Oh, that's nothing new. Tyra acts all mighty and moralistic like she's never heard of such things, like teen pregnancy or prostitution or porn stars. She had that show on strainer guys going "gay for pay" and said she hadn't hear that until that day. Yeah right. As a host she should have learned to be impartial, after all she had 5 years of practice but she never learned that and tried to understand she was seeing people at a certain level and she really doesn't know them or what sadness they are carrying inside.

Sometimes I feel sorry for her as she doesn't realise what a fool she makes of herself in trying to pretend she's something she so isn't lol. As much as I don't like the stuck-up whiney prissy types, it's pointless trying to pretend that you're down-to-earth when you don't know how to be lol, and the harder she tries the more it shows what she's really like. The fact that so many of her shows seem to be about people's race and stuff as well, I mean yeah it's arguably an important part of your identity but the way she talks about it, what point is she trying to make exactly? That it is a big deal or it isn't lol?
