Me too. "What I like about you" was one of my guilty pleasures. I don't know wha111ct made me think of that today, but I did then I realized she hasn't been in the news lately which I'm hoping means she's getting better - no crazy episodes?

Amanda Bynes is hot and Lindsay Lohan is not.
The main problem with Amanda making a comeback is that for a comeback to happen, people have to want you back, and she has burned so many bridges, that I'm not sure anyone wants anything from her anymore except to stay out of trouble. The likablity factor is kinda missing when it comes to herthough she's got the shock-factor down-pat!
You might not like Lohan, and yes, she is very messed up in her own way, but at least she was never as nasty, as far as I know, in terms of the way she talked. And that makes a big difference, cause it means she's more likable than Bynes, who cussed all the time and insulted the entire film scene at one point. I get the feeling that when it comes to the two of themflawed though they areLohan is actually the nicer one.

The difference with Amanda and Lindsay though is that Amanda is sick with a mental illness (Schizophrenia) and Lindsay was just going out, getting drunk, doing drugs and getting arrested. There's the difference. I think people will be so much more forgiving for Amanda if she comes back and does a interview and she is doing good and she's well. She's been quiet lately so hopefully this means she's getting treatment and will come back stronger and better than ever.

Hollywood still has a Good Ol' Boys network particularly for White males. After her TV series What I Like About You ended. She starred in some movies most of which were made for the tween demographic. It seems she had troubles transitioning into an Adult actor.
At least with Lindsey Lohan she made the transition before she screwed up her career with her legal troubles. Now she seems to more focused on being a scandal celebrity than a working actress.

Birtney and manda haven't released any new songs or films lately (Britney acted for a whilem, Amanda, with Hairspray, became a singer of the soundtrack..she coulda been a contender for the charts withouyt being rap or edgy, the next Debbie Gibson or Meghan TrainorAmanda has always been veyr imaginative and creative!)

P.S. What's with "actress"? When last did you deal with a "manageress"? The "-ess" suffix indicating the feminine (and vaguely inferior) version of a profession is sexist and unnecessary. -

I 1c84did see She's the Man. She doesn't seem to have enough parts suitable for her talents. Her TV show was all about herselfso it attracted tabloid gossip that sent her downhill a lot better than she could have done alone. She had a lot of talent performing on stage and needed characters to play different from just Amanda herself. Gender indicators are not any statement of inferiority. Casting directors need these if they're trying to cast a male or female role in a short amount of time.

You guys are acting like she was Meryl Streep or something. She was a hot girl in cutesy roles. Girls like her are a dime a dozenand then add in her being loony tunes, she's done. -
