At least we know that she is doing well for herself. Other than the nut case highly-medicated impression she kept getting in the media. Her health b68issues are not your business nor anybody else.

Nobody said her health was our business. The point was she said NOTHING, and basically, that's true. I learned nothing about her in this interview that I didn't know from previously reading her Wikipedia page.
Am I glad she's doing ok? Sure. But let's not pretend this was some illuminating interview - because it wasn't.

Think of the uproar if there was a website called White Voices 😄

Are White people underrepresented in the news? Why would they need any additional sources geared only toward 5b4White People? Black, Asian, Latino, etc. have publications geared specifically toward them because they are not fully represented in mainstream media. Why is that so hard for some people to understand? Do you really need the word "White" in front of publications to see that who they're targeting in their audience?

There wouldn't be an uproar if it weren't for inconvenient facts like the Jim Crow era (not so long ago), segregation and slavery. And the fact that most organizations, industries and groups are dominated by white Americans. (Not complaining about it, just pointing it out because you seem to ignore all of this.) And the fact that for decades, mainstream media did not devote much coverage to African-American opinions and interviews. So yes, there is a difference between having a website or newspaper called White Voices than one called Black Voices.
[No, I am not black/African-American, but that shouldn't matter.]

Through Google I found an indirect site that had an excerpt of this interview.
Google itself has no cached version of the disappeared page from when it still existed, or in any case I don't know how to find it, so this is all I could find.
                    http://www.bvonmovies.com/2009/10/06/lisa-nicole-carson-ally-mcbeal-interview/
Following reports of erratic behavior on and off the set, the voluptuous actress was fired from both 'McBeal' and ER' and simply disappeared from the spotlight. She hasn't done any films or TV shows, nor has she made any appearances at public events.
Numerous stories have been written about Carson's whereabouts, including reports that she had schizophrenia, spent time in a mental hospital and was being cared for by her family.
How have you worked on your acting? Are you attending classes or performing anywhere?
LNC: One of the things that I do is go to the theater a lot. I've seen everything on Broadway and some off-Broadway and I read a lot. I work on myself alone at this point. I've never had any professional training as an actress or a singer. I just seek out the things that interest me and that move me.
There have been reports on your health, such as that you were being "cared for by family." Is that the case?
LNC: No. That's completely untrue. My familywe care for each other. We all have problems and help each other out in various different ways. My family has been very supportive of me. No doubt, but I care for myself. I'm not angry about that. That's something that's out there. I love my family dearly. They've been instrumental in my life in a lot of different ways, but I'm very self-sufficient. I've spent a lot of time in New York City, although I've kept a place in L.A., and I go back and forth. I've spent some time in the South as well. I've just been all over the place. I can't give one particular place credit for my happiness right now.
Were you diagnosed with any mental illness?
LNC: I don't want to talk about that at all.
Okay, where you do go from here? Will there be an 'Ally McBeal' reunion to promote the DVD?
LNC: There's been some talk about it, but I don't know if it will come to fruition.

I just watched "Eve's Bayou" and could NOT place this beautiful, exotic woman! I'm sorry to hear about her illness and wish she could do more workbut it seems doubtful. I respect her decision not to want to discuss her health. I always wished that she was the lead on "Ally Mcbeal"; she so talented!
She deserves her revenge, and we deserve to die.

Thank you so much for giving that link to the article. I love that it was written in first-person and in her own words. I'm glad that she is in control of her condition and I look forward to seeing her work again.
