the phrase is psychiatric problems, not psychic problems.
alot of people with mental illnesses self-medicate. Probably why she had drug issues.
I'm sure plenty of people have seen her. Just cos she isn't in the public eye doesn't mean she's disappeared.

Well this is sad. I just got into Ally McBeal and am still in the first season, but I saw that she only completed 40 or so episodes. Does she not finish out the run? I like her! Hope she's doing well.
