Great point. If anyone should be uninsurable, it's him.

The situation with Robert Downey, Jr. is completely different than what Lisa is enduring.
Mr. Downey has a history of alcohol and drug abuse and has struggled valiantly with his addiction and recovery.
However, Lisa suffers from a very different disease - a mental health disorder that she can neither control NOR improve without a miraculous balance of medications and treatments all aimed at a constantly moving target. In fact, if there is any improvement and a balance is even achieved at all, it is often fleeting and pretty much impossible to recapture. Schizophrenia is a dread disease. Lisa, unlike Robert Downey, Jr., cannot know or predict when her treatment program might work or when it may miss the mark and either under- or over-medicate her making work of any kind impossible.
You cannot compare one with the other.- a friend of Lisa's

The focus now is on Lisa's health and ongoing recovery.
Living in the public eye is barely tolerable for anyone - even those people who h5b4ave no observable or significant hurdles/obstacles to overcome.
For someone like Lisa, dealing with Schizophrenia is difficult in the
best
of circumstances . in complete privacy. To battle this
lifelong
affliction - one that requires constant/continual medication and adjustments to that medication - is beyond the ability of most human beings. The side effects of the medication alone is enough to invite the harshest critics and wild speculation about drug abuse, outrageous behavior and personal responsibility.
ALL of us would like to see Lisa return to the stage and/or screen (personally - I'd love to hear her sing or make an album with that amazing voice of hers), but her mental and physical health come first and it would take a MIRACLE to find the proper balance of medication and therapy - but a miracle is what we are all hoping for .
.. and no matter what, her friends and family just want her WELL.
I know Lisa appreciates the good wishes from her fans.- a friend of Lisa's.

Removed? Robert brought in a huge ratings boost and quite frankly would have been a huge saving grace for at the time 'ally' was doing horrible creatively. Bringing in marsters and lagross did nothing. The only reason he was 'removed' was because producers cant fix jail time around their schedule. But lisa was good and solid. She brought a lot of the scenes into reality. No matter what her problems may be her work stands as a professional.
